Adore the Dr. Seuss reading. The rhythms are comforting as is your voice.

Love the coat! Fabulous and gorgeous! You must feel like a million bucks when you wear it. It inspires me to do something with my swatches too. Great to find harmony in assembling disparate pieces - it all came together beautifully.

I have to say that making the coat was more fun than thinking about it --as though the swatches drew me in until I couldn't resist. May yours do the same!

This is what I have been waiting for! I have various swatches that I want to make both a cardigan and pullover with no clue how to do it, what should I be aware of, colors, certain stitch patterns, or do I just get a bunch of craft paper and make a basic sweater pattern, then pop down my swatches or is there a rhythm or reason to do this a certain way? Any help directions I would be happy to pay for. Help me obi wan kenobi.

Starting with craft paper (or a garment in a shape you like) is perfect. You can then lay out the swatches in that general shape in some way that pleases you. You can organize them by color or pattern or business or value or texture or...... Whatever tickles your fancy. Of course once you start sewing you may fine you have to do some moving around because of size , stretchiness or whatever. But it is nice to have a place to begin. Good luck! May you swatches lead you on.
