I grew up off the grid also and so enjoy your meanderings . Is that proper English? Oh well it’s my gut speaking not my brain.

Life off the grid leaves such an impression, does it not?

Thank you so much for being here and for writing.

I listened this week to your interview on ‘The Long Thread’ while weaving an easy balanced weave scarf. The whole experience filled me with delight!

Delight for touching the fiber, hearing your words, seeing the pattern emerge- like life.

Blessed be.

My hands knit all kinds of things while I'm reading a book or watching a movie or sitting on the deck gazing at the sky. They are very clever.

Thank you!

I’m on calf watch this week. Keep good thoughts for a healthy calf and bountiful milk!

Calf Watch! Now I want to know what breed-- even as I somehow imagine a Jersey or Guernsey (though no idea why I'd be fixated on channel island names). Whoever ki is, I hope the birth is or was straightforward and everyone healthy.

Mama is a Jersey heifer. Our bull is a miniature Hereford. The calf was born this morning. He is adorable, look like his daddy! I’d love to share a picture.

Well yes -- none of it is exactly speedy work to be sure, though I try to choose images and ideas and materials with which I can have reciprocal relationship so that sense of well-being can somehow reach us all. I'm so happy to know that you felt it --and much appreciate your words.
