Spring with Beryl is over-the-top a joyous read for me. I wish I could ‘put to words’ like you do but I will have to suffice reading your precious jabber ♥️

wonderful! springtime here with 2 cats in the yard and the veggie seedlings almost all planted and a new tapestry begun and life is good...

Makes me happy to think of you and the cats in the garden and at the loom -- taut tidy brand new warp slowly receiving and building itself (with a little help from you:-).

Ah, “slow down you’re moving too fast, you got to make the morning last….” You’ve put me in a groovy state of mind with your post. Think I’ll just go outside and watch some flowers growin’. I love that you share your stories, your feelings, and yourself with us. You really are quite groovy.

Thank you! So appreciate you reciting the lyrics back to me so I can tuck them into my brain once again. About time to head out (again) and see what might have changed....

Oh, I hated to see that glorious romp through spring with Beryl come to an end! But I know it has not come an end for you two; the romp will continue until the weather gets warmer still and spring light turns to warm, maybe hot? summer light. How lovely that Beryl is actually coming when called! and do you realize that your weaving of gray and blue actually seems to imitate the colors of your new companion? The beautiful piece of worn pine, and your transparent bowls...made of milkweed was it...are glorious too! Many thanks.

Beryl's colors definitely mirror my favorite ones to dye and weave -- how lucky is that? So glad you had a good time with this bit of writing too. It was fun on this end too.

Dear Sarah,

I just love the thoughtful, quiet and respectful way you are finding out who Beryl is and how you two are together. How lovely for you both.

Thank you! She has opened up so much in me that I'd lost touch with. How not to appreciate that.

So happy for you and Beryl. There’s nothing like the love of a good dog to see you through. My two Aussies (shepherds, not cattle dogs) complete me in a way nothing else could.

what a delight-the photos, the comics, the written thoughts that include the delicious smells, images and even the "shoulds" that somehow get folded into grooviness-love it all and Beryl is indeed a treasure!

I don't often write anything but read your wonderful stories of lovely knitting, spinning, hiking, walking, drinking coffee and spending time with your lovely sweet Beryl! It makes me want to come visit this magical place you have, but i have one as well, so am very content to go out in the shade of my favorite flowers and herbs and trees and spin, knit, weave in sunshine, because that's what you are, so wonderful to read every week! :) We are so alike indeed! Basil just came up in both of my areas, where as before i couldn't grown them to save my soul! ;) think i will have to have a nice cup of tea now, you inspire me! HAPPY SPRING!

Isn't that it exactly -- totally loving the places we have and finding all the bits of joy we can. Thank you so much for reading and enjoying-- and for commenting too! Both thrill me to bits. Like Basil popping up and cups of tea.
