How utterly wonderful to find you in my in-box again! But do accept my condolences for your losses. What a rotten time you've had of it. Don't put any pressure on yourself; I can't be the only one who's happy with anything you feel up to sharing.

Just seeing your name in my inbox made me smile. It was like running into an old friend unexpectedly but it was so sad to read of your loss. Sending you a virtual hug from one fibre friend to another.

I wondered where gussets came from. Yes! Of course that is what a gusset does. Seedlings is based on my love of dandelions. Those little seedlings float until they find just the right spot.

Hello my dear!! Your attention to yourself and your loves and your small daily pleasures inspires, and I know that even when we drag around an aching heart, the things we love are still there for us. I'm glad you can feel that we are there for you, too!!

Oh my word Cindy, I'm so sorry. It's a thing though, isn't it--this widow's brain. And my relationship with creativity (well, with everything really), is, like yours, deeply subject to its whims. When I first started the Substack I thought, "well, I should wait till I'm 'stable' again and sure of my path cuz I'm in a whacky place right now and it'll keep shifting --but maybe there are other people out there doing the same thing in one way or another, and we can move onward together..." So thank you for being here even as, again, I'm so sorry. Be well and take care.

It’s so great to see you in my inbox again. Yes widow’s brain is a thing I have it myself. My loss was two years ago and I’m just now scratching the surface of getting back to where I was in terms of my textile loves. Hang in there. Sara

How absolutely wonderful to see you in my inbox. I think of you often, every time I do a new fringeless warp. Sometimes, I admit, cursing you for introducing this to me, (that’s when I’m putting on a fringeless for a 34” x 24” piece), and at the next moment marveling at the ease of it all (on a smaller warp) and always in awe of the sheer magic of this method. So much to still learn about it. I am so sorry for your loss of two such loved ones, and send hugs, a few tears and a lot of good wool vibes your way. Welcome back!
